In every clinic, in every home medicine cabinet

In addition to cotton wool, bandages were the first products that founder of the company, placed on the market 95 years ago. Throughout the history of Tosama, they have been one of the main pillars of the company. Today, bandages represent one third of all medical devices in the company.

Over the years, the entire assortment was divided into two large families of bandages. The major part of our production and sales are bandages for dressings and fixing bandages, meanwhile, compression bandages are becoming an increasingly important product line. The first bandage of this kind, intended for compression therapy of venous diseases, was created in Tosama in 1967, and remains a synonym for compression bandages to this day. It is still being manufactured under the brand name Vivafitt.

Despite different trends in the world, we in Tosama still produce all bandages at home. Adding together the amount of bandages that come from our weaving rooms, we make more than three million annually, all together we produce 19,055 kilometres of bandage. Ninety percent of our bandages are made from pure cotton. All our bandages are the result of our own knowledge. We have been developing them with the thought of the health and well-being of those who use them. Therefore, we are constantly trying to improve our products, to increase the quality of the materials for the best possible performance.

Lately, we take the biggest pride in Vivavene, a long-elastic compression. It was created in 2010 and developed in close collaboration with experts in the field. Because we are led by the desire to make the use of our bandages as user-friendly as possible, Vivanene bandage is now equipped with two blue woven lines, which make binding limbs a lot easier.
